The podcast I am most intrigued by is called "Roy's Writing Tools" which is sponsored by Pointer and is based on a book of the same name by a man named Roy Peter Clark. This podcast has a variety of audio lessons from a journalism writer about how to be precise in writing language. Each podcast focuses on one particular tool and Roy narrates his explanation of the tool. The message he is giving is good but I don't know if students would find him engaging. In one of his videos Roy talks about sentence structure and in another he speaks of playing with wrods to create meaning and ply in writing.
In the classroom Iwould use this podcast and other like it to highlight how "real" writers write.. This site has credibility and has a way of breaking down seemingly complex grammatical structures in ways that students can access. I will be willing to have my students use a variety of tools to access ways to write in coherent forms. This podcast might be one though I do frequently utilize in a classroom setting.
